Family Rally Package
Let the family rivalry commence!
Enjoy a practice/tuition session followed by a timed session with full training given.
Suitable for all abilities, including those not holding a UK driving licence.

We’ve designed this exciting package to offer adults and kids the opportunity to enjoy our award winning rally experiences together – the ultimate test of family rivalry!
After a quick safety briefing, it’s straight into the driver’s seat of the competition prepared rally car. The instructor will establish what level of experience the driver has. Those who have never driven a car before will be assisted by the Instructor using a dual controlled clutch and brake. Once your rally harnesses and seat position have been checked by a marshal, you’ll head out onto the gravel rally track for your 5 lap practice/tuition session.
The instructor will be encouraging you to get the car moving and sliding around to learn how to control it using real rally techniques. Even kids who have never driven before always take to the techniques really quickly and, within a few laps, are driving very competently…
Once your practice/tuitional session is over, the next time you jump in the car will be against the stop watch for the timed runs.
5,4,3,2,1 GO for two timed runs under rally conditions with the instructor pushing you to brake later and slide harder with loads of dust/mud flying and then flat out over the flying finish line!
The times will be compiled to determine our “Driver of the Day” & ultimate bragging rights for the drive home!
- Be 10 years old or above (including all who do not hold a driving licence for use on UK roads)
- Be over 4’10” and under 6’7″
- Weigh less than 20 stone
- Be able to process instructions accurately, quickly and coherently
- Have eyesight which is adequate for driving purposes, with lenses if required
- Have sufficient hearing to understand instructions whilst wearing an open face crash helmet
- Not suffer from fits, seizures or blackouts
Plan to be with us for approximately two hours, based on a minimum of five participants. Should there be less than five participants, although the experience content will remain the same, your time at our venue may be reduced.
If you cannot find a suitable date in our calendar for one of our Family Rally Packages, please do contact us with a number of preferred dates and we will endeavour to fulfil your requirement. Three or more family member participants are required for the Family Rally Package.
Spectators are welcome to attend at no cost, however it is a condition of admission that they obey the site rules. Spectators under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Dogs – well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
Amendments/Cancellations/Postponements – Once a booking is confirmed, any application(s) to alter or cancel the experience date will only be accepted if Cotswold Driving Experiences is notified in writing a minimum of twenty calendar days prior to the experience date. Any request Cotswold Driving Experiences receives in writing to alter or cancel a booking nineteen calendar days or less prior to the experience date, will forfeit the booking and payment received. As an alternative to cancellation, you may wish to nominate an alternative participant to attend.
