Our rally/4×4 combo treats you to 2 very demanding but totally different forms of motorsport!

The 4×4 Off Road Driving in the morning will test your nerves to the limit as you climb vertical ascents, control vertical drops, power through water troughs and fight the vehicle as it tilts up almost onto 2 wheels! The course is split into 2 elements with the training carried out on the elementary obstacles and then the intensity and difficulty of the obstacles and techniques increases throughout the morning! All of this is done in our Land Rover Discovery with a fully trained instructor alongside to guide you and encourage you! Good luck!
And then, after lunch, you forget everything you’ve just learnt in order to tackle our Rally Driving experience! This form of motorsport is all about controlling a car at speed whilst travelling sideways on a marble-like surface! You’ll enjoy several practice and tuition session where you’ll be taught how to slide the car around, handbrake turns and a very counter intuitive way to use the throttle pedal! Once all of your practice and tuition is complete, the red mist will descend as the stop watches come out for the competitive session to determine our “Driver of the Day”. And then your instructor will jump in the Driver’s seat to take you out for an infamous White Knuckle Passenger ride to show you how the pro’s do it! Hold on tight …..
We welcome group and individual bookings on this course with the following group discounts: 8+ drivers is £310 per person.
- Hold a driving licence entitling the participant to drive on UK roads
- Be over 5’0” and under 6’7″
- Weigh less than 20 stone
- Be able to process instructions accurately, quickly and coherently
- Have eyesight which is adequate for driving purposes, with lenses if required
- Have sufficient hearing to understand instructions whilst wearing an open face crash helmet
- Not suffer from fits, seizures or blackouts
Plan to be with us for approximately six hours (plus a lunch break), based on three 4×4 off road driving participants and five rally driving participants. Should the number(s) for each experience be less, although the experience content will remain the same, your time at our venue may be reduced.
Spectators are welcome to watch the Rally Driving content of the 4×4/Rally Combo experience in the afternoon at no cost, however it is a condition of admission that they obey the site rules. Spectators under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Due to our 4×4 Off Road track being located in a different area to the Sign On/briefing room and tea/coffee facilities, spectators are unable to watch the 4×4 Off Road Driving element of this experience.
Dogs – well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
Amendments/Cancellations/Postponements – Once a booking has been confirmed, any application(s) to alter or cancel the experience date will only be accepted if Cotswold Driving Experiences is notified in writing a minimum of twenty calendar days prior to the experience date. Any request Cotswold Driving Experiences receives in writing to alter or cancel a booking nineteen calendar days or less prior to the experience date, will forfeit the booking and payment received. As an alternative to cancellation, you may wish to nominate an alternative participant to attend.
